# Plugin Crashed

 * I had the plugin installed and active with maintenance mode on, and when I logged
   on again it had crashed and removed itself from my plugin list. How could this
   happen?
 * Please respond asap.

 * The plugin can’t remove itself from the list of plugins. It simply does not have
   the code to do that. Somebody removed it.

 * On it’s own no, but if something changes/crashes the database and alters the 
   active plugins options key it can be disabled that way.
