# Plugin creates 2 email fields

 * Hi,
 * Thanks a lot for creating the plugin.
 * I am having a problem – not sure if there is a solution, or if it is just a case
   of your plugin not matching my requirements…
 * I was expecting the plugin to remove the username field and leave email and password.
 * However, it renames the username field, which means I now have 2 email fields–“
   Email” (custom name) and “Email Address”.
 * Is it possible to just have one field for email address?

   this should fix your issues.

 * I have this same issue – it creates 2 fields (I’m using WP 4.3.1 and version 
   1.3.1 of this plugin)
 * The only way I get the username (now called ‘Email’) to not appear is by ticking
   the ‘Automatically generate username from email address’ option in WPJM settings,
   but then it does exactly that (and doesn’t use email address as the username!)

 * Btw I noticed you are using:
    add_filter( ‘register_form_fields’, array($this,‘
   register_form_fields’), 9999 );
 * I couldn’t find any apply_filters(‘register_form_fields’ … in the WPJM code though?

 * Btw – what do you mean with ‘Register form’ ? Which ‘page’ is this?
 * I’m referring to ‘/post-job’ (which as far as I know is where Employer posts 
   job and registers …)

 * I looked at the code and that shouldn’t be the case, as my plugin changes the
   username in the filter that is ran after WPJM sets the username as first part
   of email.
 * You must have the “Automatically generate username from email” option enabled
   for my plugin to work, I’ve actually been working on an update today which you
   can find here:
