 * Recently, after updating WordPress I noticed that Custom Upload Dir stopped working
properly. What happens is that whenever I upload an image, even though the plugin
saves the image in the right folder, the image just don’t show on the web, nor
the media gallery. Instead, I can only see the icon of broken image.
 * I tried deactivating all the plugins and then running WordPress just with CUD,
but still didn’t work, so I’m confident that must be some sort of incompatibility
between CUD and the latest WordPress version.
 * I don’t know what else I can say to help solving this issue, but I would appreciate
if you guys can say something to help me fix this, as I love CUD and can’t be
   without it. Thanks!

 * Sounds like the permissions of your folders went out of whack. Make sure your
wp_content/uploads/* has the correct attributes set. 711 on folders and 644 on
files usually work well. You might need to open up a bit on the folders, 755
   or so.
 * Use your FTP client (should have a function for “File Permissions” or similar)
or straight up [chmod](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chmod) to adjust.

 * I’ve checked the permissions and they were all set the right way, so I would
not think the problems was there. However, after deleting, downloading and reinstalling
CUD, I noticed is working without no problem with all new posts.
 * Strangely, if I try to re-upload images on old posts, the problem persists. Would
that be a problem with WordPress database? Any tips for that? Thanks Ulf!
