    1. We understand that the Directorist plugin is open source. We have a custom requirement and can we modify the code ourselves to accommodate the feature?

    2. We use this plugin to add a new place to my list. In the below image, on entering a place location, its corresponding images are retrieved from google. Do we have an option in the Directorist plugin to select multiple images from this list and add it to my place? If not, can we change the code to accommodate this?

    Hi @ramyanxtg,

    You’re right, Directorist is open-source and thus you can modify the codes to accommodate any feature you need, there’s no restriction around it. But please note that, if you modify core plugin files, a later Directorist will overwrite your changes, so it won’t be possible for you to use regular updates anymore. Unless, of course, you cherry-pick the changes that were made in a particular release and add them to your version. In any case, you’re free to do any modification that you may see fit.

    We also need another clarification.

    I’m sorry, Directorist doesn’t have this option. If you want it, you’ll need to customize the code.
