# Plugin “DataTables CounterColumn” hide Plugin function

 * Hi,
    I have a table in which the following plugins work:
 * – DataTables CounterColumn
    [https://tablepress.org/extensions/datatables-counter-column/](https://tablepress.org/extensions/datatables-counter-column/)
 * – DataTables Column Filter
    ([https://tablepress.org/extensions/datatables-column-filter/](https://tablepress.org/extensions/datatables-column-filter/))
 * Following problem:
    If I activate both plugins via the short code, the plugin“
   DataTables Column Filter” is deactivated and dont display at tablescreen. If 
   I set the “DataTables CounterColumn” plugin to “false”, the filter on the footer
   filter will work again and correkt.
 * How can you prevent this “deactivation” of the filter when using the “counter”
   plugin?

 * thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.
 * I see what you mean. Unfortunately, these two Extensions are not compatible at
   the moment 🙁 They basically modify the same part of the JavaScript command to
   invoke the features, so right now, only one can be used at a time.
