 * Hello, I’ve seen a previous topic on this but without continuation and solution.
 * I have been trying to install the plugin to my website, running WordPress 3.6
   and there’s always an error message saying
    ‘The plugin tockify-events-calendar/
   settings.php has been deactivated due to an error: The plugin does not have a
   valid header.’
 * I have tried multiple times to reinstall and reactivate the plugin but it doesn’t
   seem to work. Can you help?

 * Hi Alsa,
 * I’m sorry to hear that. I’m not sure which other topic you’ve seen this on –
   we’re not aware of the problem.
 * We’ll look into this in case we’ve done something that breaks very old WordPress
   versions (version 3.6 is 5 years old) by mistake and report back.
 * For now though I recommend upgrading to a more recent WordPress version if you
   can. 4.9.5 is the latest version.
 * I expect you’ll run into more and more problems if you stay on 3.6 because plugin
   makers are dropping support for it so upgrading is a really good idea.

 * Hi Alsa,
 * We looked into this for you and saw the same problem.
 * We’ve released a fix for it now so if you upgrade the Tockify plugin to version**
   1.3.5 ** (or later) and re-activate it everything should be ok.
 * The problem was caused by an inadvertent clash with a global variable that doesn’t
   occur in more recent WordPress versions.
 * Sorry about that and thanks for making us aware of the problem.
