 * The plugin deactivated itself after updating to v 2.25. I didn’t notice until
   the next morning.

 * Very strange. Hopefully it doesn’t happen again. If there’s an error message
anywhere that would be helpful. Maybe there’s something in the /wp-content/debug.
log or in the 404 Solution log.

 * There’s no file at /wp-content/debug.log. I assume WordPress’ debug log was never
enabled. And all I see in the 404 Solution log are redirects.
 * If you tell me where the 404 Solution log file is located, I’ll send it to you.
Or I can enable the wordpress debug log before the next update.

 * Okay. Please enable the wordpress debug log before the next update. It could
be useful. For the 404 solution debug log go to the “Plugins” page in WordPress
and click the “Debug Log” link next to “Settings” and Activate/Deactivate. Please
paste the log contents at pastebin.com (not here) and paste the pastebin.com
   link here.
    thanks!

 * There were no problems updating to 2.25.2. But here is your 404 log file for
   the update.

 * I enabled wordpress’ debugging, it didn’t create the expected /wp-content/debug.
log file. But there was a file named error_log in my root directory. I pasted
   it here:

 * I couldn’t find anything related to your plugin in the error_log, but maybe you
   can.

 * I don’t see anything either.
 * Thanks for your help anyway.
