 * I have the problem that the plugin always deactivates by itself. First I thought
   that this is related to the caching plugin “WP Super Cache”, but even if I turn
   off the cache, the plugin is automatically deactivated after a short time. What
   can this be? Any ideas?
 * Thanks!
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fplugin-deactivates-by-itself-2%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)

 * Update: I found a compatibility test in the end of amazon-associates-link-builder.
   php
 * Maybe this causes the deactivation, but I can’t understand the reason.
 * My actual settings:
    WP version 4.9.5 PHP version 5.5.30

 * Dear [@tinebln](https://wordpress.org/support/users/tinebln/),
 * Please update to latest plugin version first and if that doesn’t solve your issue,
   please provide the following details in order to allow us to debug the issue:
 * 1. Browser version on which you are facing the issue.
    2. Does the issue occur
   on all browsers or only a specific browser? 3. PHP version (You can use plugins
   like display PHP version that display your PHP version on the WordPress dashboard)
   4. PHP error logs 5. List of plugins installed on your system 6. Operating system
   version

 * I am having exactly the same problem. The plug-in deactivates all the time, leaving
   code on live pages. No wonder no-one is clicking on the ads, as no-one can see
   them! I’ve wasted a lot of time placing these ads and my site is being entered
   for a national award this year, so a fix would be appreciated, otherwise, I’ll
   have to ditch Amazon Associates.
