 * We have been receiving an error email (Your Site Has a Technical Issue) for some
   time now.
 * _Hello!_
 * _WordPress has a built-in feature that recognizes when a plugin or theme causes
   a fatal error on your site and notifies you with this automated email._
 * _In this case, WordPress has detected an issue with one of your plugins: Flexible
   Checkout Fields._
 * _etc._
 * The error details are at the end of the email:
 * _Error Details
   A error of type E\_USER\_ERROR occurred on line number 24 of the
   file wp-content/plugins/flexible-checkout-fields/vendor/composer/platform\_check.
   php. Error message: Composer detected issues in your platform: Your Composer
   dependencies require a PHP version “>= 7.2.0”. You are running 7.1.33.
 * The site has been running on PHP version 8.0.30 for a few months now, but we
   still receive the error mail.
 * How can we solve this?
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fplugin-detects-wrong-php-version-causing-error-mail%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)

 * Hello [@maaikesvw](https://wordpress.org/support/users/maaikesvw/)
 * Thank you for your patience. I discussed this problem with plugin developer,
   and we are not sure if the shop works with PHP version 8.0.33. This can be seen
   in the error details.
 * Could you create and post a link to your phpinfo(); output? If it confirms that
   your store is running on PHP 7.1.33 version, you will need to change it to recommend.
 * Kind regards,

 * Hello [@maaikesvw](https://wordpress.org/support/users/maaikesvw/)
 * Thanks a lot. Maybe there is a different version of php for web and another for
   CLI.
 * Please log into the server via SSH and call the command: php -v
   The php-cli version
   will be displayed. phpinfo(); will show us the php version for the web.
 * These may be completely different versions.

 * Hello [@rzepsen](https://wordpress.org/support/users/rzepsen/)
 * I don’t have SSH access on the shared hosting server. I have contacted the hosting
   provider, and they provided the following information:
 * _They mention that the CLI version is independent of the Composer version, but
   it is true that the Composer version is outdated.
   A task is already scheduled
   to update this on all Shared Hosting servers at once.
 * Could this be what the plugin is detecting?

 * Hello [@maaikesvw](https://wordpress.org/support/users/maaikesvw/)
 * We have just released the Flexible Checkout Fields 3.5.14 update containing the
   proper fixes for the error message you’ve reported. So please simply do the update.
 * If the WordPress updater hasn’t informed you about the newer versions available,
   please check for the updates manually by choosing the Dashboard tab > Updates
   > Check Again option.
 * According to the technical team, the message that came in the email did not affect
   the functioning of the plug-in itself. However, we decided to make modifications
   so that similar notifications would not come to the mailbox again.
 * Please let me know if you have any further questions or if there is something
   more I can help you with.
