 * After almost two weeks of work, and almost $500 of support and add-ons, the display
was abysmal. There are much easier, cheaper, and less time consuming Directory
plugins out there, and they install just fine.
I am posting this because subsequent
conversations with the developer were unfruitful. Even though the product proved
un-workable, even though the add-ons did not work as described, if at all, and
even though I gave the developer carte blanche authority to make it work whatever,
change the theme, deactivate any plugins etc., I was left with an un-editable
home page, and a confused looking listing page. But he says it was 100%. I hadn’t
even got anywhere close to adding a listing and I knew it wasn’t going to work
without a ton more developer hours. I will say one thing. The developer tried.
I know he worked hard on this. His problem is a defective plugin and they need
to go back to the drawing board. Beware.

 * Refunds were offered for any addon where you could prove it wasn’t working. You
   reply was “i’ve moved on”
 * Regarding the “support” which was actually customization’s to your theme, we
will not offer any refunds for that.
 * This review system is for the plugin, we have a free and open review system on
our website. Would have loved for you to help readers by stating what happened
when you tested the 100% free plugin, that you downloaded here on wordpress.org.

 * The user who reported unfavorably about their experience has been a registered
member on this site since 2011. Almost all of the favorable reviews, however,
have been posted by people who have been here less than 3 months and who have
only registered to leave one glowing review of this product.
 * Erm … Yeah, I think I am going to believe the long term honest reviewer. (Birdseye,
could you say what alternative you selected? I am looking for a product.)
 * It would be great if you could address what looks to be fraudulent reviews on
   your page here, Plugin Author.
