# Plugin Directory – Changes plugin’s name

 * Is there a way to change the plugin’s name in the plugin directory? What I should
   do to change it?

 * Use your ftp client or your hosts file manager. If you need to change it for 
   diagnosis reasons, just add a .bak extension to the existing file name. That 
   way it becomes disabled and you can easily spot what you changed later on.

 * That’s not exactly what my question was about.
 * I wanna change the name entered when asking for a url in the plugin directory,
   changing it’s url too.
