# Plugin Stable Version Not Updating Following Commit

 * I’m the developer for [Document Gallery](https://wordpress.org/plugins/document-gallery)
   and I’ve just promoted a new version, maybe an hour or two ago, but the changes
   are not showing up on the plugin pages.
 * Most problematic, the stable version is still listed as 3.0.2 instead of 3.1,
   which is the version most recently promoted.

 * Looks like you figured this out. You have to update the trunk and tags directory
   when you’re using the tags method.
 * If you have any additional problems, emailing plugins@ is the best way to get
   quick response. 🙂

 * Thanks for the response and for the email to use in the future, Otto!
 * I’m not sure that explains it though. I tagged the new version in rev @1161985&
   made the trunk changes in @1161987, but both of those happened within a couple
   of minutes of each other. The plugin directory didn’t fully update until hours
   later.
 * It’s resolved itself now, so not a big deal, just putting the information out
   there.
