# [Plugin: Display Posts Shortcode] Why is the list surrounded by …

 * I’m seeing the resulting list from display-posts-shortcode surrounded by code
   tags:
 *     ```
       <code>
       <ul class="display-posts-listing">...</ul>
       </code>
       ```
   
 * I’m not sure where this code block is coming from. Could be in my theme. Is it
   normal? If it’s in the theme, where might I look to modify this, is there some
   standard file it would be in for a list like this?

 * gah, never mind. The code tag was getting added inside the editor! When I flipped
   it over to html mode, there it was!
