# [Plugin: Document Repository] Broken functionality

 * When uploading a PDF, the options to add title, etc. never appear (but the file
   does get uploaded). Only the word “finished” will display after upload is complete.
 * Categories option never appears as indicated in this tutorial:

 * It seems this plugin is somewhat broken on the latest version of WordPress?

 * The finish link is the plugin working correctly. Click the Finish link once the
   document has uploaded.
 * In the document you linked to the “categories” are the custom taxonomies in the
   separate custom taxonomies plugin included with the document repository.
 * UMW may have added additional taxonomies not included in the version you downloaded.
   The ones included are *sample* taxonomies for you to model yours on.
 * The Doc repo plugin was designed to incorporate taxonomies as a separate plugin
   rather than having several hard coded into the plugin.
