 * When I installed Simple History I received this message – must have at least
PHP 5.3 installed (you have version 5.2.17)
 * I have checked hosting on GoDaddy and current PHP was 5.3.
    I have since updated
this to 5.4 which displays on GoDaddy dashboard.
 * I have cleared caches etc. and reinstalled the plugin and still no joy.
 * Same message. Plugin does not recognise the updated PHP.
 * Where to from here?

 * The version number 5.2.17 is probably correct. Several other users have had similar
issues where their hosting provider (or admin interface “Ipanel”) says they are
using one version but then it turns out another version actually is in use.:
 * > yes you are right. I have upgrade the php version in my cpanel. I works now.
   > Sometimes, in the left side of cpanel the version listed is not the same with
   > the current version we used. So we need to go to php conf to uggrade it manually.

   > an outdated version of PhP. I would not have known it by looking at my “stats”
   > area in the iPage Cpanel. it said I was on Php 5.4, but when I went into the
   > real PhP config area, it said I was on Php 5.2. Updating PhP to 5.4 fixed the
   > issue. I’m happy to have Simple History working again too.

 * The info.php file showed the old version still activate even though the dashboard
showed 5.4 was active. Not so.
GoDaddy support acknowledged the issue and fixed
it. Strong case for premium hosting which our new client now understands!
