 * Hi
I’d LOVE to use your plugin on an upcoming project, but it doesn’t seem to
work. I am trying to create an access level so editors can only edit posts in
a certain category. I’ve read the documentation, and experimented for the past
two hours but nothing is happening. I’m using a fresh local install with and
without other plugins. The problem? The restriction does nothing. I can still
edit posts as a an editor that are outside of the category the administrator
specified for me. — Initially tried pairing it with User Role Editor (as the
capabilities set in RUA didn’t do anything either. When that still didn’t help
I deactivated the two other plugins I’m using (Classic Editor, & User Role Editor)
to make sure there were no conflicts. Now I can’t access the homepage unless
i uninstall RUA. it keeps updating the URL to : [http://findhelp-test:8888/?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Ffindhelp-test%3A8888%2F](http://findhelp-test:8888/?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Ffindhelp-test%3A8888%2F)—
A real shame, would be interesting in buy the premium, but don’t want to fork
out for something that doesn’t work and isn’t stable. Help would be appreciated.

 * I get the same problem. It totally broke my site, but I didn’t realise for a
while because it only affects non-admin users. All their URLs become encoded
and then no longer work. Everything ends up redirecting to the homepage.
 * I’d love to use this plugin, but I had to uninstall it, as I need site members
to be able to navigate the site.
 * I hope this is fixed in the future.

 * Thank you for reporting this.
 * While it’s possible to grant/deny any capability to any access level, Restrict
User Access does currently not support conditional capabilities.
 * Restrictions control what users should be able to view content on the site, not
   edit.
 * I have noted this feature request down, so it might be included in a future version
   🙂

 * It sounds like this is a different issue. If you’re having trouble getting restrictions
to work, please open a new thread I’ll gladly help. If possible, provide screenshots
of the access level restriction conditions.
