# Plugin doesn’t translate text

 * I have just installed the GTranslate plugin on my WordPress site.
 * When I select a different language from English from the plugin’s menu, no translation
   occurs. The text remains in English.
 * I have tried in both Safari and Chrome, with the same results (or lack of them).
 * Selecting a new language generates numerous errors in the browser console, but
   I’m not sure how to interpret them.

 * found the problem – it was a conflict with the Jetpack Google Translate widget.
   Removing the widget from the page restored functionality to the GTranslate plugin.
