The meta description and og description are both identical and come from excerpt. But if that is not long enough to fill the entire box, the second line is picked up from content itself. * I guess that is what the problem is. I changed nothing else apart from upgrading to the latest version, no double posts, no spurious html characters any more. Try the obvious and shut down other plugins and see in FB then works.
