 * What would be really interesting and useful would be drop caps that were insertable
   inside the post–when a new paragraph introduces a new topic, for example.

 * It sounds like a great idea, although how would the plugin know when to insert
   the drop caps? Are you thinking of having a tag like `[dropcap]` wherever you
   want to insert one?
 * The idea of the plugin is that you don’t need to add any extra markup to your
   posts. If you decide to change theme to one where drop caps are unsuitable all
   you have to do is disable the plugin as opposed to re-editing all your posts.
