 * we are a small weekly newspaper, testing this at the moment, can anyone help
with information on how to adopt a weekly workflow that would allow all stories
viewable with a certain week/issue date so it would make sense for journlists
and for page layout artist alike – anyone sucessfully done this? thanks

 * Have you tried the Story Budget? That feature is designed for precisely what
it seems you are looking for.

 * thanks Scott – i dug a bit deeper and its probably what we need – may i ask how
i would make sure all stories for a certain weeks issue are searchable here,
how does it determine the ‘date’ of a story relevent to a certain issue? is it
publish date of the post , or could i use the a custom entry in Editorial metadata?
ive set one up called ‘Issue date’ and also a ‘page number’ – would love to use
this for layout artists to make sense of what needs to be placed in Indesign
   pages.

 * Story Budget uses the current publication date (even if it’s not published).
 * We don’t currently surface Editorial Metadata on the Story Budget view. You can
look at the most recent Calendar view – perhaps that’s better suited to your
   needs.

 * Actually… in v0.7, you can mark an editorial metadata term as “viewable” and
have it appear in the calendar and story budget. It won’t sort the posts by a
date field, however. We’ll take that as a suggestion for a future release.
