 * I have tried all 3 custom options to get the attachment link to give me an actual
   attachment URL instead of a direct download link to a PDF file. My plan is to
   use this plugin, show my attachments on single.php , and when someone clicks 
   the View/Print Link, it will open the PDF in a new tab, ON MY SITE, so I can 
   actually use an embed code to show the PDF using my template…
 * So…
 * GUID gives me the direct link to my PDF, and the URL and LINK options give me
   some link full of a bunch of crap that I know does not belong there….
 * I am using these custom options below. Why does your plugin not allow me to have
   the link that I want???

    In the version 1.9.0, you can now, choose the type of link (to a WP page/
   post, or direct to the file).
