# [Plugin: Embed PDF] Same preview when changing .pdf file

 * First of all, thank you for this useful plugin 🙂
 * I just found an issue : when you replace an “old” .pdf file by a new one with
   exactly the same name, the preview generated with Google Docs Viewer is still
   the old one.
 * The only way I found to fix this is by changing the name of the new file … and
   it works 🙂
 * Do you think it could be possible to fix this ?

 * This is simply a matter of caching. If you give Google a few hours, it will start
   serving the new file.
 * As this is an issue with the way Google fetches the PDF, there is nothing that
   can be “fixed” in the plugin.
