    Hi Gabe,

I think I found some sort of error in the plugin.

When listing assets in External 3rd Party (.css & .js) I get a

Source: ../../global-assets/about.js * It looks like the source is not reachable

With the link after the source in red color.

Actually the source is reachable and working, contrary to what the * note says. You can even click that red link and it will open the file in a new tab.

I am using WordPress 5.4 and Asset CleanUp 1.3.6.1.

    Thank you,
    Andrei

@andrei0luca thanks for reporting a potential bug! Just so you know, it’s irrelevant for the plugin’s functionality (front-end side) whenever you see that error. A call is made by the plugin to check if the file is there or not and it alerts the admin that it could be a non-existent one and it prints that message. If the file is there, it means the connection wasn’t made properly. Note that this is only a verification triggered for the admin only and it’s not doing anything in the front-end.

Is the path to the file containing ../../? if that’s the case, can you send me a print screen (with the exact message) via https://www.gabelivan.com/contact/ along with the full URL to the file? That ../ could be the cause and Asset CleanUp misunderstands it, although it shouldn’t, as there are cases when traversal directory URLs are used. But I need to investigate it, you never know.
