 * Hello,
 * after updating the plugin to the latest version 5.3.1 I got this error at the
   bottom of every page:

 * Hi [@hganev](https://wordpress.org/support/users/hganev/),
 * Thanks for reporting this! The issue is caused by a **stale `advanced-cache.php`
   file** in your `wp-content/` folder. It’s an old version from before the 5.3.1
   update that references a method that no longer exists.
 * To fix it, please try one of the following:
    1. **Deactivate and reactivate the plugin** — this will automatically replace the
       old file with the new version.
    2. **Or**, go to the Super Page Cache > settings, disable the  Disk Page Cache,
       save, then re-enable it and save again.
 * Either of those should resolve the fatal error right away. Let us know if you
   need any further help!

 * Hi [@hganev](https://wordpress.org/support/users/hganev/),
 * Thanks for the update — I’m glad to hear the second option worked.
 * This was caused by a stale `advanced-cache.php` file in `wp-content/` after the
   5.3.1 update. Re-saving the **Disk Page Cache** setting forces the plugin to
   regenerate that file, which is why the fatal error disappeared.
 * Thanks again for confirming the fix.
