Plugin Error

i have the problem that when i open the plugin page in the dashboard i get following error: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STATIC, expecting T_STRING or T_VARIABLE or ‘$’ in /hp/be/ab/ui/www/wp-content/plugins/events-made-easy/ExpressiveDate.php on line 68

TimeZone ist set to Europe/Berlin

I use version 1.5.41, a downgrade from 1.5.45 because my php version is lower than 5.3
