# [Plugin: eShop] Disable automatic email

 * Is there a way to disable the automatic default email from eShop? I’ve looked
   around quite a bit for a solution before posting here.
 * It appears that customers receive two emails upon successful checkout, one from
   my merchant gateway and another from eShop, I’m not sure both are required (or
   are they?)

 * Yes – both are required and you cannot disable them in eShop (although you can
   modify the email templates in each case).
