# [Plugin: Events Manager] Error when activating 'Cannot Send Session Cache Limiter'

 * Hi everyone! This event manager is EXACTLY what I have been looking for, but 
   sadly nothing is as easy as it seems.
 * When I go to activate the plugin, I get an error at the top of the dashboard-
 *     ```
       Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: open(/var/chroot/home/content/52/7273352/tmp/sess_6kudmt92cflh0hmqocgcm927e7, O_RDWR) failed: No such file or directory (2) in /home/content/52/7273352/html/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/events-manager/classes/em-notices.php on line 11

 * I also get the following errors when attempting to change the Event Manager settings-

 * please don’t bump
 * this means that either your theme or a plugin is outputting content early and
   not enabling EM to add session data.
 * Either that or you have a file permission problem for temp files (if the above
   doesn’t help, then contact your hosting provider)

 * Hey there Marcus,
 * Sorry about the bump, I was afraid my post might never be seen due to the volume
   of posts on this board.
 * I tried de-activating my current theme and enabling a WordPress default theme
   but still the error is given. I will contact my host to see if they can be of
   any use.

 * Just contacted my host and they set up a top level temp. folder for me and all
   is working now, Thanks!
