    Hi I am getting a syntax error upon installing wordpress:

    syntax error, unexpected T_OBJECT_OPERATOR in /wp-content/plugins/events-manager/events-manager.php on line 283

    Anyone any ideas what might cause this?
    i’ve got a few sites where everything is running smoothly

    it could be that you’re running php4 there. you need 5 now, your host should be able to update it for you
