 * Installed the plugin, followed the Quick Start Guide, Added <!–more–> to a test
post, logged out – nothing. Repeat – nothing.

 * Is that post a custom post type? You did not include enough in the screen shot
   for me to tell.

 * Thanks for asking. It’s a regular post. Skeleton child theme.

 * Randy – your situation is indeed strange. You appear to have things configured
correctly. And I did take a look at your site to confirm – when I view source
I can see the ‘more’ tag in the content. Everything looks correct.
 * I’ve had to ponder this to think of some possibilities.
 * What other plugins are you running on this site?
 * I am wondering if there is something that is also being used on the site to hook
into the the_content filter that is preempting WP-Members filtering the_content,
and sending the contents of the $content variable downstream prior to the WP-
   Members filter.
 * The other possibility, which would be similar, is something that is unloading
   the the_content filter with a remove_filter call.

 * Hi Chad,
Thanks very much for your time and attention to this. I often am odd,
and apparently so are my problems. I gather from what you are saying that this
could be theme specific. If so, perhaps I could consider twentyfourteen or something.
I do run a lot of plugins, tho I turned them all off to test, without any change.
I guess I will play with it some more. One thing I noticed is that the content
seems to be truncated in the blog, but totally absent in the post page. I would
hope to show 200 words on the individual post page as well as the blog list page.
Is that possible? Does that require pro version? Best

 * Solved the problem and I love your plugin!
 * I had blocked the post and added the more tag, which didn’t work.
 * Now I showed the excerpt option in Screen Options and then manually copied the
first 300 words into the excerpt field box. This worked!
 * This plugin is works exceptionally well for me because new visitors can become
members without leaving the post page. Very useful.

 * Glad its working out for you.
