 * If the article is attached to several categories, then the plugin does not work.

For example, an article is attached to the ‘Reviews’ + ‘Tips’ headings. Selected
in the widget – show ONLY in the ‘Tips’ heading. But it is still shown both there
and there when viewing this article.
 * It is necessary that he does not take into account all the headings where the
article is attached, but only the main one.
It would be more logical, it seems
to me. Well, or there must be some other way to show the widget in a specific
category (by url, for example), and not everywhere where the article is attached.`

 * Hi there,
 * Thanks for the report, but I’m not quite sure I understand.
 * > It is necessary that he does not take into account all the headings where the
article is attached, but only the main one.
 * WordPress has no concept of a ‘main’ heading (category). A post being assigned
to multiple categories treats them all equally.
 * Before I get too far in looking into this, you are saying ‘Article’ and I’m not
sure if you’re referring to a Custom Post Type of ‘Article’, or if that’s just
   what you call Posts.
 * By default, Conditional Widgets only interacts with Posts and Pages. If you want
it to interact with a CPT, you need to specify that with a filter. That could
   easily be your problem here.
 * Let me know, and I’ll try to keep helping you out
 * Cheers

 * Thanks for the answer, I will try to explain.
(In this case, I use Google Translate,
there may be inaccuracies of translation.)
 * ‘Article’ = ‘post’, I meant under the “article”.
 * The post can be attached to several rubrics – example: [https://prnt.sc/15hhlae](https://prnt.sc/15hhlae)

At the same time, one of them will be “main”. And now I have a situation where
all the widgets are shown in such a post at once, for which in the settings of
the plug-in chosen to show in any one of these few columns – [https://prnt.sc/15hhhre1](https://prnt.sc/15hhhre1)
 * That is, there is a widget, which should be shown only in the heading, for example,
   №1
And the second widget, which logically should be shown only in the heading,
   for example, number 2
 * And there is a post that is tied to rubrics No. 1 and No. 2 – and in this case,
the show of all widgets – and they do not fit into the screen – so [https://prnt.sc/15hi4c7](https://prnt.sc/15hi4c7)

It seems to me that it would be better if for a post that is tied to rubrics
No. 1 and No. 2 – showed a widget only for the rubric, which is selected in the
settings of the post as “basic”, for example, only for heading # 1.
 * Or some other way to avoid shows a set of widgets in posts, which are tied to
   several rubrics.

 * Hello again – thanks for your reply!
 * >> At the same time, one of them will be “main”.
 * Note that this concept of a “main” category is not a default part of WordPress.
It is part of either a theme or plugin that you’re using. I have no experience
with that custom functionality, so unfortunately I can’t tell you if that’s part
   of your problem or not.
 * But if you’re asking for this plugin to only show the widget if the selected
category is the “main” category, that won’t be possible.
 * If you’re asking a different question, I’m sorry but I’m not understanding it
   still.
