 * I hadn’t thought of implementing that, as none of the other plugin install tabs
   have that feature.

 * This feature will actually be in WordPress 3.5 natively too, so once that’s released,
   my plugin will disable itself (in the next version, which will be out before 
   3.5)

 * As I mentioned in a reply on another support thread, I want this plugin to maintain
   feature parity with WordPress itself. So when WordPress 3.5 comes out, which 
   has this feature, you won’t need this plugin anymore.
 * WordPress does not allow you to display plugins in alphabetical order on *any*
   of the plugin install tabs, so it would be odd to only have it in the Favourites
   tab.
 * Really, this usability enhancement is something that should be done to WordPress
   itself. You could open a ticket for that here: [http://core.trac.wordpress.org/](http://core.trac.wordpress.org/)
   if you like.
