# [Plugin: FeedWordPress] Excerpt not updating when modified manually

 * Hi
    I’m new to WordPress so forgive me if I’m asking very basic question.
 * I’m using a theme (like [Triton Lite](http://www.towfiqi.com/triton-lite-free-wordpress-theme.html))
   which shows excerpt of the posts on the front page.
 * While it looks great, the excerpt does not get updated after I edit the content(
   e.g. adding my comments at the beginning).
    The post itself is properly updated,
   but whatever I do, the excerpt on the front page never gets updated, it just 
   keeps showing the very original excerpt.
 * I’ve tried other themes (which shows excerpt) but still the same. I’ve also disable
   other plug-ins but still no luck.
 * Am I missing something?

 * Oh I forgot to mention this happens only to the posts created by FeedWordPress.
   
   Other posts appear fine on the front page.
