[Plugin: Flattr] How to insert button manually? Getting "error" when trying.

The site says to use the shortcode “[flattr uid=’MyID’ /]” but that does not work for me. When I do that, all I get is the button, but with an exclamation and the message “error”. I am trying to put in in the sidebar using the widgets text option.
