# [Plugin: Flexible Posts Widget] Is Offset possible?

 * Can the flexible post widget be configured with an offset? I want the first six
   posts in a category to appear in the main content area with excerpt and thumbnails(
   they do), but instead of going to older posts on a separate page, I would like
   to display posts 7 and older in the sidebar widget with only the post titles.
 * After installing Flexible Posts Widget in the primary widget area, it nicely 
   displays (without excerpt or post–as I wanted) the same posts as are displayed(
   intentionally ) in the main content area (unintentionally duplicating the posts).
   How can I get it to start with post #7?

 * Hi netingenuity,
 * It’s not currently possible with the plugin, but that’s an excellent feature 
   suggestion. I’ll add it to the list of improvements I’m making. I should have
   a new version out in a week or two that will include that capability.

   so that more posts will appear on the page without having to navigate to another
   page.

 * WOW! Thank you so much. I hadn’t checked to be notified that you posted a reply
   and didn’t know about this update a week ago. Just now, I got the update. The
   offset is easy to use. Works like a charm.

 * Now, I want to figure out how to hide the navigation in the main content area
   to the older posts.
 * I really appreciate your help. Tonight I experimented with Query Posts Plugin
   and could not get it to display the desired category. Your plugin seems much 
   easier to work with. Yeah!
