# [Plugin: flexmls® IDX Plugin] Experianced Problems

 * I downloaded the plug this week and had the following issues:
    ** Slide show 
   not spacing the pictures correctly. They would run into each other when displayed.
   Slide show search results were incorrect. The IDX search created in Flex in which
   to display in the slide show did not work. The search results showed hundreds
   of listings not relating to the search. Different IDX searches were created that
   produced the same results.  Data fields can not be changed With the IDX search
   widget the data fields could not be changed. They were limited to about 5 fields.
 * The market statistic search seemed to work fine. The other features with the 
   widget were the 1 click location & custom search. These features are easily duplicated
   with the FLEX IDX by linking to the searches you create within your FLEX IDX 
   menu. I saw no added value with these features.
 * With that said I look forward to being updated as these bugs and function limitations
   are resolved and improved.

 * Thanks for the feedback, Larry. The slide show spacing issues are particular 
   to your theme or site. The slide show search results you report as being inaccurate
   are not due to the plugin but to the setup and will be easily corrected by you
   working with our support team.

 * Support said they would get in touch with me when they have a solution to the
   slide show spacing issue and results problem. They did not say it was a theme
   issue or site related.
 * I am very willing to work with support as I am excited about using this product.
   I look forward to a follow up call from the support team.

 * Larry, someone from our support team will be in touch by email or phone today.
   They’ll reiterate what I explained when you posted these same issues to my blog,
   namely that the different listing counts are the result of your using an IDX 
   link that has criteria conflicting with the slideshow settings you have. Regarding
   the spacing problem, it must be specific to your theme or site, because that 
   problem is not recurring elsewhere. We’re happy to help you trouble-shoot the
   problem with your site and, if we can, make a change to the plugin so it overrides
   whatever theme or site settings are messing with the slideshow. What doesn’t 
   help a lot is when we have to run around the web responding to the same issues
   from you on multiple sites. You know our phone number, we’re always accessible,
   and hope that you’ll work with us there.
