# [Plugin: Flexslider] IE Issue

 * If I do not specify a width and height on the settings panel in WordPress, the
   plugin scales perfectly in all browsers except IE, in which the image does not
   show at all.
 * If I specify an image height and width on the settings panel, the image does 
   show up in IE, but it becomes distorted and squashes when I resize any browser
   window.
 * I’ve tried putting Flexslider into a containing div and specifying relative height
   and width but this doesn’t seem to have an effect.

 * height 100% width 100% did the trick.

 * But height 100% width 100% cause major probs in Webkit browsers. 🙁

 * maybe you can try conditional stylesheet for IE and set separated stylesheet 
   for both IE and the other browsers , or just add conditional IE in your html 
   tag. The later method well explained in [http://paulirish.com/2008/conditional-stylesheets-vs-css-hacks-answer-neither/](http://paulirish.com/2008/conditional-stylesheets-vs-css-hacks-answer-neither/)
