 * I purchased a plugin to add amazon ads to my blog for some revenue.
    Is there
   any way I can check the coding in the background to make sure it’s doing what
   it’s supposed to. i.e. taking my API and clicking through to Amazon and giving
   me credit for anything purchased. And not somehow clicking through to amazon
   but giving the creator of the plugin credit for the purchase.
 * I’m asking because when I go to the plugin page to put in my API info it already
   has API info there (I’m guessing from the creator of the plugin), meaning that
   if I were to just leave it as is and not put my info in he / or she would get
   credit for it.
 * I did take out the info (his api key) and put mine in, but I just want to see
   if there is a way I can double check the coding to find out, that it’s not showing
   clicks to amazon for me but he’s getting the credit (i.e. the $$$).
 * I’ve been getting over 10,000 click throughs to Amazon over the past two months
   now and finally one purchase come through yesterday. So it just has me curious
   with that many clicks shouldn’t I be getting more than just one purchase? Or
   am I just being paranoid or something.
 * Thank you so much

 * Hi Smitty.
 * I have just released a similar plugin which might be of use: [Super Amazon Banners](http://wordpress.org/support/topic/new-plugin-super-amazon-banners).
 * Down the line I will also be publishing reports to affiliates who use it with
   how many clicks went through the plugin.
 * Please note, however, that I change every 10th click to my own tracking ID! I
   don’t want to be nefarious about it, but it needs to run on its own dedicated
   machine because of the image processing and this will help pay for it. The upshot
   is it adds zero load to your own WordPress setup!
 * Cheers,
 * Billy
