# Plugin for images that scroll(??)

 * Hi,
   this post’s title isn’t perhaps very descriptive of what I am looking for,
   so I’ll try to explain it in what follows.I have seen that some websites have
   images covering the whole width of the screen which, when scrolling the page 
   down or up, the image seems to uncover a portion of itself, that is the part 
   of the image that is visible either shrinks or widens somewhat like on this webpage:

 * Does anyone know what is the name of this effect and if there is any available
   plugin that allows to diplay images in this way?

 * Hello, the effect is called “parallax scrolling”, if you search for something
   like “parallax scrolling background” hopefully you can find a plugin that way.
 * If you already have an image in place on your site, it can usually be adjusted
   to parallax scroll by adding a couple of lines of CSS. Here is an example tutorial
