# Plugin for simple zoom

 * I am looking for a plugin for adding a zoom to my images (thumbnails) on my site.
   
   I don’t want a zoom like a lens, magnifying when mouseover. No, I need a simple
   zoom : a simple sign on the picture (like a + or similar) and when you click 
   on it, you received the full picture on a separate blank page. It is the simplest
   zoom. Could you give me some names of plugins (free), because I checked in the
   plugins list and I only found zoom with lenses on mouseover or very expensive
   plugins premium for my simple need or old plugins not tested with version 4.7.5.

 * Maybe you can’t find it because you are searching for the wrong thing.
 * The effect you are describing is called lightbox. When you click on an image 
   and it opens in a modal window that floats above the content.
 * For the + symbol you can just use CSS and Font-Awesome or Glyphicons to place
   the + over the image.
 * Or you can get fancy and implement something like this:
