 * Hello,
 * First off, thank you for the great plugin, works great to move a large group
   of users between websites. I have hit an unexpected snag however. Whenever I
   create a user that has the ” subscriber” role, and try to login as that user
   in IE or Safari, the account redirects to the wp-admin/profile.php. Whatever
   link I try to input ( to reach any frontend part of the site) it redirects to
   wp-admin.
 * the behaviour stops when the plugin is inactivated. At that point the users are
   logged in as expected, and the frontend works as intended.
 * any advice on how this plugin could be causing login issues like this would greatly
   help me. Technically I can just import the users and disable the plugin afterwards,
   but thats not a nice way of going about.
 * Also: This weird behaviour happens when all plugins are off except the import
   plugin..
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fplugin-forcing-user-to-wp-admin-profile-php%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)
   to see the link]_

 * [@samsup](https://wordpress.org/support/users/samsup/),
 * You have chosen the option “Force reset passwords in the first login” and there
   is some interaction with some other plugin that is avoiding to enable standard
   login after changing passwords.
 * You can avoid this problem in the documentation tab, you have a button to “Delete
   all metadata forcing password change for all users”.
 * Check it and avoid the force reset passwords in next import.

 * Thank you, the reset fixed it.
 * I was puzzled because I did have the password reset for the account done, even
   requested a new password by the ” lost password” function, so didnt figure that
   it would still be hung up on the initial forced password reset!

 * There are certain plugins that change the way the password is reset and in those
   cases, our plugin does not know that the change has been made and that’s where
   the problem you have had comes from.
