# [Plugin: Frontpage-Slideshow] Only Half Working

 * Hi. I’m new to all things jquery, so having a rough time with this.
 * I’ve set everything up and the slider looks fabulous in the preview, but on the
   main site it’s not transistioning. It shows the image for the first post, then
   goes blank.

 * I have tried deactivating the plugins. I’m also using the custom field: fs-pictures
   + image url.
 * I’ve looked through the topics on this forum, but can’t find a solution to my
   problem. If it’s here, please point me in the right direction!

 * By looking at the javascript errors when on your site, I note 2 causes :
    1. you are not using the wordpress standards jQuery framework files and that causes
       troubles
    2. there is an error into some of the theme’s javascript
 * some ways to get out :
    1. use the wordpress version of jQuery
    2. fix the bug into your theme’s javascript
    3. try to use version 0.8 of the plugin tha uses another javascript framework and
       may not been affected

 * Thank you! I will try the older version and see how that works. I don’t know 
   enough about jQuery or Javascript to go editing that stuff, and the site is not
   mine, so I really don’t have the option of changing themes…

 * try the newer version 0.9.6.2 that would fix all
