 * I’ve installed this plugin on a multisite.
 * It generates false 404 errors at this URL:
 * [http://domainname.com/wp-content/plugins/ft-calendar/includes/js/jquery.tools.min.js?ver=3.2.1](http://domainname.com/wp-content/plugins/ft-calendar/includes/js/jquery.tools.min.js?ver=3.2.1)
 * I’ve got my 404s monitored by two error-logging plugins and they both show the
   same results: false 404s from this FT CALENDAR URL.
 * Great plugin otherwise.

 * OK, need to clarify.
 * The faulty URL is actually:
 * [https://domainname.com/wp-content/plugins/ft-calendar/includes/js/jquery.tools.min.js?ver=3.2.1](https://domainname.com/wp-content/plugins/ft-calendar/includes/js/jquery.tools.min.js?ver=3.2.1)
 * So anytime ANY page on the site is visited, this URL generates a 404.
 * Note the “https”. I actually do not use a SSL certificate on my site, so don’t
   understand why FT Calendar is generating a HTTPS.

 * Does visiting that URL manually still produce a false 404?

 * Thinking the problem I encountered is site-specific, I just started monitoring
   404 on another site where I also have this calendar plugin installed
 * Yes, it is causing the same problem. It doesn’t matter which page/post I view
   on the site, a 404 error is triggered.
 * **A 404 error occured at the following url: mydomainname.com/wp-content/plugins/
   ft-calendar/includes/js/jquery.tools.min.js?ver=3.2.1 **
 * Referrer: [http://mydomainname.com/postname/](http://mydomainname.com/postname/)
 * What impact would all these false 404s have on my site in terms of SEO? I like
   this plugin so wouldn’t mind all the false 404s as long as they don’t have any
   adverse SEO effect (site visitor experience is not adversely affect in any way,
   I think).
 * Are these(generating the false 404s) a resource hog?

 * What plugins are you using to monitor 404s? Also, are these Linux based servers
   running Apache?
 * I don’t think this would affect SEO at all… if you can get to the URL then the
   web crawlers should be able to too.

 * The issue with the 404 error is ’cause is misssing the jquery.tools.min.js in
   the ft-calendar/includes/js/ directory…you need to download the file [http://jqueryb.googlecode.com/files/jquery.tools.min.js](http://jqueryb.googlecode.com/files/jquery.tools.min.js)
   to that directory
 * The Google PR and Bing/Yahoo SEO statics show 404 error with this file, so in
   my opinion YES affect SEO. I have a IDS in one of my site and show the same missing
   file on any page

 * Nando, have you updated to the latest version? It should be fixed.
