 * When enabled, there is no place for individual blogs to configure their analytics.

 * I’m planning on adding full multi site support in either 4.1 or 4.2, so should
   be there somewhere in the coming months.

 * Hi Joost – any update whether this plugin works with a multi-site install to
   track multiple domains? Is it possible to simply setup a new profile for each
   subdomain?
 * Cheers? – dale

 * Hey Dale, you can just activate it on each blog and make a new profile for each
   subdomain yeah, there’s no MultiSite specific code yet though, unfortunately.

 * I’m just checking in, too. I’ve just started work on a new multisite group of
   sites. I was delighted when I discovered that they’re using this plugin and headed
   for the advanced configuration in the hope that if anyone was doing multi-site
   well, it would be you.
 * Sadly, there’s nothing there yet.
 * What would be really, really nice would be to be able to go the whole way and
   have two sets of GATC, one ‘per-site’ and one ‘rolled up’ for all the sites.
 * But perhaps that is going to far? I’d be happy with a consistent ‘best practice’
   set of pre-build configuration options to hand-hold individual site admins through
   the process.
 * At the moment, it looks like I’m going to rely on filtered profiles based on
   the GA host data. I think it would be nicer to avoid those filters.

 * This might be helpful: According to Google Code, the best way to track subdomains
   is by setting up a master profile and using the same profile id for all of the
   subdomains. Check the specs here:

 * Just tried this and it still doesn’t work with multisite. Each site needs to
   be authenticated, but that can only be done by a super admin. And in my case,
   the super admin doesn’t have (and doesn’t want) access to the end user’s GA account.

 * Would also love to hear an update. I just found the hard way that this doesn’t
   work on a Network (multisite): [http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-google-analytics-for-wordpress-network-activate](http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-google-analytics-for-wordpress-network-activate)

 * [@progresst](https://wordpress.org/support/users/progresst/): Ultimate Google
   Analytics has not been updated in over 3 years: [http://www.oratransplant.nl/uga/#versions](http://www.oratransplant.nl/uga/#versions).
   Not sure I’d trust it for production use.

 * Same here, Multisite support would be huge.
 * It would be best accompanied by a tutorial explaining the default set-up, including
   on Google Analytic’s end, as [results can vary](http://wordpress.org/support/topic/google-analytics-for-multisite-synchronous?replies=11)
   depending on these settings.
 * p.s. Seems to me the [Async plugin](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/google-analytics-multisite-async/)
   has it figured out already. I just feel safer in your hands =P
 * Thanks for some great plugins Joost!

 * [http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/google-analytics-multisite-async/](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/google-analytics-multisite-async/)
   supports multisite.
