I’ve installed my google analytics plugin onto my wordpress site, which appears under my Plugins tab and settings tab in wordpress. I’ve set up a google account and pasted my web property ID into the wordpress google analytics plugin settings page. When I access my google analytics page, I see a warning symbol underneath the status heading..and i have no activity on my site, not sure what I’m doing wrong? I checked my footer.php file and the above code is in there just fine. * The plugin is working on 8 of my other sites just fine. I’ve not waited the requisite 24 hours, but I have checked footer.php to find already there. I shall wait until tomorrow before commenting further on this matter. I did notice, though, that I am unable to select placement of this code in the header even though it is in the drop- down menu. It always defaults to the footer as noted.
