# [Plugin: Google Analytics for WordPress] Need help with loading google analytics..

 * I keep trying to install goggle analytics but it’s not working. It says my tracking
   is not installed. I’m not sure where to put the html code. When I add the code
   under editor it moves everything to the bottom of my page..Hope this makes sense..
   Please help..

 * Hi juliefraser, not sure if you resolved this problem, but here’s what to do.
 * Log into WordPress and in the left sidebar you should see the **Appearance** 
   menu. Click the **Editor** link. Then on the right you should see a list of your
   Theme’s files.
 * Look for the one that says **Footer.php** and click it.
 * Scroll down to the bottom of the page and just above the ending `</body>` tag
   paste your code in.
 * Wait a day or so and your analytics should be working just fine.
 * Hope that helps.

   theme).

 * I’m using the plugin but still don’t see the tracking code–Google Analytics says
   it has not been installed. What am I missing?
