I have installed and am using Google Document Embedder to post a fillable pdf form which was designed in Adobe Acrobat. For some reason the form fields are not showing active. Is this possible using the Google Document Embedder? Am I missing something?

Icklem,

In order to display the document without a PDF plugin, the form is rendered as an image with some overlay for text selection, etc. As such Google Docs Viewer (which my plugin is based on) does not support fillable PDF forms. You’ll still need a capable PDF reader for that. Sorry.
