# [Plugin: Google XML Sitemaps] Google Webmaster Tools Warning

 * I’ve noticed that my posts aren’t getting indexed very quickly by Google anymore
   and looked into it. I think my sitemap might have something to do with it. I 
   use the XML sitemap tool regularly.
 * Google Webmaster tools said this about my sitemap:
 *  URLs not followed
    When we tested a sample of the URLs from your Sitemap, we
   found that some URLs were not accessible to Googlebot because they contained 
   too many redirects. Please change the URLs in your Sitemap that redirect and 
   replace them with the destination URL (the redirect target). All valid URLs will
   still be submitted.

 * Do you have URLs that redirect in your sitemap? Your sitemap should only contain
   final destination URLs, no redirects. Have you tried regenerating your sitemap?

 * Had the same problem. I’m using 2.7.1. On the settings page, I changed my WordrPress
   Address (URL) and my Blog Address (URL) setting from [http://domainname.com](http://domainname.com)
   to [http://www.domainname.com](http://www.domainname.com), submitted a new site
   map, and all errors were gone.

 * Its also because the sitemap isn’t being rebuilt with all the new posts anymore..
   thats why your indexing is horrible.

 * I just have permalinks set to “Month and name” and all the links just point to
   my pages.?

 * I ended up just uninstalling the module and taking the sitemap.xml file and stripped
   it down and rewrote it to standard sitemap protocol. Re submitted it and it works
   fine.
 * I think something in the code the Plugin: Google XML Sitemaps is putting out 
   buggy.
