 * Hi,
 * We are using Unicode Characters (Hindi) inside field names.
    But after exporting
   pdf from forms we get ?????? instead of नाम
 * Can unicode support be added?
 * Regards

 * Hi Arihant,
 * The plugin is setup to already support unicode characters, however I believe
   Hindi isn’t one of those.
 * You can install a font of your choice to the PDF export engine but you’ll need
   to follow the instructions on this website to do so:
    [http://eclecticgeek.com/dompdf/load_font.php](http://eclecticgeek.com/dompdf/load_font.php)
 * Once installed open the template.css file in the GF PDF Extended folder and add
   a font-family: ‘your new font here’ declaration to any element of your choosing–
   body would be a good choice.

 * I forgot to mention the DOMPDF version is 0.6.0 beta 3.

 * Thanks for your reply.
    The problem is not completely solved, there is some issue
   with dompdf. Here is a link to the ticket [http://code.google.com/p/dompdf/issues/detail?can=2&start=0&num=100&q=&colspec=ID%20Type%20Status%20Stars%20Priority%20Milestone%20Owner%20Summary%20Modified&groupby=&sort=&id=503](http://code.google.com/p/dompdf/issues/detail?can=2&start=0&num=100&q=&colspec=ID%20Type%20Status%20Stars%20Priority%20Milestone%20Owner%20Summary%20Modified&groupby=&sort=&id=503)

 * What font did you install?

 * Siddhanta – [http://svayambhava.org/index.php/en/fonts](http://svayambhava.org/index.php/en/fonts)
 * I also tried
    Mangal – [http://in.ffonts.net/Mangal.font.download](http://in.ffonts.net/Mangal.font.download)
   But when using this font the whole pdf is blank, we can still select the text
   but its not visible. I also tried changing the color & font-size in the css file,
   but nothing worked.

 * Did you check to make sure that font has the characters you are trying to output?
   If you install the font on your computer and use it in a word document with the
   text from the template you should be able to determine this.
 * If the font does display everything correctly then I can only recommend you try
   again with the font installation instructions I posted earlier, just in case
   you missed something.
 * If you would like me to get hands on with your WordPress Install and fix the
   problem then send an email to [enquire@blueliquiddesigns.com.au](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-gravity-forms-pdf-extended-unicode-support/enquire@blueliquiddesigns.com.au?output_format=md)
   and we can discuss the costs privately.
