# [Plugin: Gravity Forms – Update Post] Include Exclude Fields

 * Hi there…
    I’m busy testing your plugin and so far it looks great (Donation on
   it’s way 🙂 Just wanted to ask if there is a way to exclude certain fields from
   the editing page. Eg. My form allow for a Title, Body, Category, Custom Field
   1, Custom Field 2. I want the user to be able to edit the post but NOT the Category
   field. Is there a way to exclude a field?

 * Ok..I found a way!!
    I Duplicated the form and called it Edit…I then remove the
   fields that I DON’T want the user to edit….Created a page with this form and 
   that’s it
 * BUT
 * I notice that even if I remove the “Category” field the Post Category is automatically
   changed to the 1st category on the list..even if the category field is not on
   the edit form it always change the post category to the 1st
 * Any ideas on this?
