 * G’day Sam, that’s a good question (and I ought to know!)
 * I’ve asked on the Gravity Forms forum and I’ll get you an answer once I know.
   I think it should work with the minimum license, but wait until I get an answer
   from Rocket Genius.

 * G’day Sam, Rocket Genius have confirmed that it will work on the Personal license.
   i.e. it will work on any Gravity Forms license.
 * cheers,
    Ross

 * Hi Ross, sorry to bother you again, but I am having trouble with the point at
   which the hand-off occurs between Gravity & eWAY. I have set up the form and
   have the settings for the eWAY plugin set as test, but it isn’t re-directing
   me to the eWAY payment page, it just returns a result true.
 * I’m assuming it’s somewhere in the form send confirmation, but it just doesn’t
   seem to be coming together.
 * Any help would be much appreciated.
 * Thanks again, Sam

 * This plugin uses the [Direct Payments API](http://www.eway.com.au/developers/api/direct-payments.html),
   so the payment will have occurred online; there is no “redirection”, it all happens
   on your website.
 * If payment is successful, the form proceeds to the confirmation step and shows
   your confirmation message. If payment is unsuccessful, it shows you an error.
   Another user has given me feedback with some explanatory text that I really need
   to get into the readme file about that!
 * What do you get if you put in a credit card other than 4444333322221111?

 * Thanks for your quick response Ross, we are actually trying to link the form
   directly to the eWAY hosted payments page rather than collecting the credit details
   online.
 * We are hoping to just collect the donation amount and then go straight to the
   eWAY hosted page to fill in the other details so no credit card info has been
   entered on the site. I was advised by eWAY that Gravity forms (and consequently
   your plugin) would allow us to do that. It’s almost happening, but not quite,
   I can smell it – hahaha!

 * Sorry Sam, this plugin only does direct payments. You’ll need to use another
   method if you want to use the hosted form. I have no plans to support a hosted
   form as it doesn’t offer anything to my clients that they can’t get just using
   PayPal, and Rocket Genius have a good plugin for that.
 * NB: Gravity Forms doesn’t store the credit card info, if that’s why you aren’t
   going with direct payments. The card info is sent to eWAY, but is never kept
   on your website. Your only requirement is a valid SSL certificate for your website.

 * Thanks Ross,
 * they didn’t want to have get an SSL and I wasn’t able to convince them to, so
   I’ll just have to modify the sample code to collect the details and pass them
   off to the secure page. Thanks for your help and sorry for the inconvenience!

 * No worries, you asked some good questions so I’ll be able to add some useful
   information to the readme; time well spent as far as I’m concerned!
 * Good luck, Ross.

 * Hi Sam
 * Did you end up creating your solution of collecting the details then passing
   off to eWay’s page? Looks like I might need to do the same thing. Still trying
   to convince client to get an SSL, but so far not looking like it’ll happen.

 * G’day Ben,
 * Can I ask… why do you guys want to use this approach with eWAY, as opposed to
   either getting SSL and using the Direct Payments API, or just going with PayPal?
   It might be a silly question, but I need to ask it; all of the clients I’ve used
   eWAY on are happy to have an SSL certificate, and those that aren’t are happy
   with PayPal, so I must be missing something.

 * My specific case at the moment is this client is not-for-profit and they want
   a donation form on the site, with one of the options being via credit card. They
   don’t currently have an SSL cert, and so far don’t want to get one just for that
   form/page. They’re already setup with eWay as they’re selling a few products
   on a separate Shopify based site. Ideally they’d like to just have this Gravity
   Form on their site where they collect all the other data they want, then pass
   on to eWay for credit card info & payment. Still trying to get them to just purchase
   an SSL and if they do then the plugin as is will be perfect. If not, will have
   to see what can be done. On the chance they do get it, can I also setup recurring
   payments on the card with this plugin?

 * G’day Ben, thanks for responding. That is a good explanation of why, and a good
   reason to want it. I might have to reconsider adding support for eWAY’s Rapid
   API at least. But not this week (or next), as end of financial year means everyone
   wants everything now! 🙂
 * Regarding recurring payments, I haven’t had any experience with them so I haven’t
   written anything in the plugin to support them. It’s something on my TODO list,
   however, so expect support in a future version if it doesn’t already work.
 * cheers,
    Ross

 * Hi Ross. Thanks for that. I know the feeling. Same here.
    So, would some funding
   go any way towards any of that? ie do you have time to be contracted for something
   like that anytime soon? : )
